1 tube crescent rolls
4 string cheeses, cut in half
2 tablespoons salted butter
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 small clove garlic, minced

Galassi Pasta Sauce for dipping


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat and set aside.

In a small bowl, melt butter together with Italian seasoning and garlic.

Pop open crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Brush the tops with some garlic butter. Place half a string cheese at the wide end and roll up. Brush the tops with more garlic butter and bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm and with a side of Galassi Pasta Sauce.

·        1 cup Sweet Tomato Basil Galassi Pasta sauce

·        ½ fresh mozzarella ball

·        Fresh basil

·        Toast


1.  In an oven-safe dish, place ½ of the mozzarella ball, flat side down. Gently pour the pasta sauce around the cheese.

2.  Bake the dish at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil. Serve with toast.

When we have a little bit of left over pasta sauce - we use it to build our own pizzas! Here are some pics! It is fast, easy and basically you can use whatever you have left over in your refrigerator! Great for a busy weeknight dinner! :)

7 oz uncooked vermicelli or spaghetti
1 egg
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 jar (14 oz) Galassi Pasta Sauce

1/4 cup light cream cheese with roasted garlic (from 8-oz container)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
