Manicotti Ala Layla

Here is one the whole family will love!

1 Package of Manicotti Shell
1 ½ Cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 Cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 Cup ricotta cheese
1 Egg slightly beaten
1 Package frozen chopped spinach, thawed & well drained
½ Pound of ground pork sausage
1 25oz jar Galassi Pasta sauce
Kosher salt
Crushed black pepper
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

For filling:
Add the ground pork to a sauce pan over medium heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Crumble well and cook until browned. Drain off fat.

In a large bowl, add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, ½ cup shredded parmesan, ricotta cheese, egg, spinach, pork and season with salt and pepper. Mix together well.

Cook manicotti in large pot of boiling salted water until still somewhat firm to bite and about 75% done. Using tongs, carefully transfer manicotti from pot to baking sheet and cool.

Brush bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with olive oil. Spread 3 tablespoons of Galassi Pasta sauce over bottom.

Stuff manicotti shells with cheese, spinach, meat mixture. Arrange stuffed pasta in single layer in prepared dish and spoon remaining sauce over. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and parmesan atop the sauce.

Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes or until sauce is bubbling and the edge of the cheese starts to turn golden brown.

Serve with salad and bread and enjoy!!!

(3-4) Large russet potatoes

½ Cup light sour cream

½ Cup Greek yogurt

(4) Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (1Tablespoon Reserved)

16 Ounces of prepared polenta

(1) 25 ounce jar of Galassi Sweet Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce

3/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese (1/4 cup reserved)

1/4 Cup light ricotta cheese

1/2 Cup rough chopped & loosely packed fresh parsley (1/4 cup Reserved)

Salt & Pepper

1 tube crescent rolls
4 string cheeses, cut in half
2 tablespoons salted butter
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 small clove garlic, minced

Galassi Pasta Sauce for dipping


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat and set aside.

In a small bowl, melt butter together with Italian seasoning and garlic.

Pop open crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Brush the tops with some garlic butter. Place half a string cheese at the wide end and roll up. Brush the tops with more garlic butter and bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm and with a side of Galassi Pasta Sauce.

·        1 cup Sweet Tomato Basil Galassi Pasta sauce

·        ½ fresh mozzarella ball

·        Fresh basil

·        Toast


1.  In an oven-safe dish, place ½ of the mozzarella ball, flat side down. Gently pour the pasta sauce around the cheese.

2.  Bake the dish at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil. Serve with toast.

7 oz uncooked vermicelli or spaghetti
1 egg
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 jar (14 oz) Galassi Pasta Sauce

1/4 cup light cream cheese with roasted garlic (from 8-oz container)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

  * 1 pound ziti (can sub penne) pasta
  * Olive oil
  * 1 pound bulk Italian sausage or ground beef or pork
  * 1 large onion, chopped
  * 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
  * 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary (or basil), minced
  * 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning

12 ounces egg noodles
1⁄4 cup chopped onion
1 1⁄2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
4 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 1⁄2 lbs lean ground beef
28 ounces Galassi spaghetti sauce, any flavor
3 1⁄3 ounces sliced pepperoni or 3 1⁄3 ounces Canadian bacon
3 cups grated mozzarella cheese

  * 1 lb of ground beef
  * 1 jar of Galassi pasta sauce
  * 8 oz of cream cheese
  * ¼ cup sour cream
  * ½ lb cottage cheese (equals 1 cup)
  * ½ cup butter (1 stick)
  * 1 pkg spaghetti 16 oz
  * Grated cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°. Boil your spaghetti noodles until al dente (firm). Drain and set aside until ready to assemble.
  2. Combine the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese until well blended.
  3. Brown your hamburger and when done, drain well. Combine the hamburger with your spaghetti sauce.
  4. Put a few slices of butter into a 9x13 pan then pour half of your spaghetti noodles on top.
  5. Take your cream cheese mixture and pour on top of the noodles. Spread well over noodles.
  6. Pour the rest of the noodles on top of the cream cheese mixture. Put a few more slices of butter on top of the noodles.
  7. Pour your spaghetti and meat sauce on top of your noodles.
  8. Now it is ready to put into the oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, pour the desired amount of grated cheese on top and return to the oven for 15 minutes to allow cheese to melt.

 *   1-1/4 pound Ground Chuck
 *   1 can 15-ounces Galassi Pasta Sauce
 *   1/2 teaspoon Salt
 *   Freshly Ground Black Pepper
 *   8 ounces, weight Egg Noodles
 *   1/2 cup Sour Cream
 *   1-1/4 cup Small Curd Cottage Cheese
 *   1/2 cup Sliced Green Onions (less To Taste)
 *   1 cup Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown ground chuck in a large skillet. Drain fat, then add Galassi pasta sauce. 1/2
teaspoon salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Stir, then simmer
while you prepare the other ingredients.

Cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and cottage cheese. Add plenty of
freshly ground black pepper. Add to noodles and stir. Add green onions and

To assemble, add half of the noodles to a baking dish. Top with half the
meat mixture, then sprinkle on half the grated cheddar. Repeat with noodles,
meat, then a final layer of cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, or until all cheese
is melted.
